Jail Reading Program Aims To Reduce Recidivism

This is a video I co-shot, produced and edited for my communications internship at Maricopa County.

The goal of this story was to tell our audience how the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and Maricopa County Library implemented a program to reduce recidivism by challenging inmates to participate in a reading program. The program won an award from the National Association of Counties, NACo.
